The Laundromat
A human bought himself a new RV,
Then sold his house in Santa Fe
So he could travel and could see
The many wonders of the USA.
He solved the problem as to how,
While traveling, to get his mail and such,
And made an honest solemn vow
To family and friends, to stay in touch.
Some other problems he did solve,
Which came with living fancy free,
Except the one that did revolve
Around the missing laundry mystery.
His socks were always one sock short;
He put in twelve, got back eleven.
The money lost he could afford,
But why should eight return as seven?
And this he never understood.
But then he found an answer to his quest.
So, to confuse the laundromat, he put
One extra sock in with the rest.
