The easy Life
A human by the name of Pierre
Told Dad and Mom "It isn't fair,
My brother has such easy life.
He's lazy, insolent, and has no drive.
He doesn't have to go to work each day
While I must toil to make some hay.
You must admit, the treatment isn't fair.
If shoes wear out he gets another pair.
I pay my rent, he lives for free
And whiles away his time with his TV.
He doesn't even pay for any meal.
Don't blame me but I really feel
He's got it better, has an easy life.
He doesn't even have a nagging wife.
I ask you why we aren't treated equally.
I fail to understand, I just don't see.
We pay his dentist and his doctor bills,
His vitamins, his medicine, his pills.
The bum just sits around without a care.
Somebody cuts, for free, his hair.
But do I really want his kind of life?
I'd rather will put up with toil and strife.
To break the law just isn't me.
I will not join him in the penitentiary."
